How Bush "thinks"

It's been said many times before, but Jonathan Chait says it well: Bush rejects reason and facts in favor of gut judgments of character. Everyone does this to some extent, of course, but what makes Bush special is that once he's made a judgment call, it seems that absolutely no amount of contrary evidence can ever get him to change his judgment.

I suppose the hacks will call that confidence, will and leadership.
