DeLay is once again managing to table any ethics investigations into his actions, this time by threatening that Democrats who have done like him will also get investigated. The Washington Post concludes, "In a sign that both parties are leery of the outcome of an ethics war, not a single complaint has been filed with the ethics committee by either side despite a torrent of revelations about questionable conduct by lawmakers." This is why Americans hate politicians.
Of course, there are a lot more Republican politicians in Washington these days than Democratic ones....
