Thank you for explaining that in clear terms.

A college girlfriend kept trying to convince me that racism applied only to blacks. I thought she was batty in the head. Now you have explained it, and it is clear as day.

Of course, she couldn't explain it at all, so she was still batty, I guess. :)

The bottom line is that you are just defining racism as prejudice plus power. When you define the term as such, what you say makes perfect sense. (Of course, it would be a mistake to think that this definition is universally or even widely held.)
