Kevin Drum apparently finally got his copy of Harry Frankfurt's "On Bullshit" (I'm still waiting for mine), and he's got a nice post on why contemporary politics has brought this mordant little academic essay back into vogue.
Maybe analytical philosophy does have something useful to teach us!
